Livestock Vendor Information & Requirements
Welcome to the Family Farm Expo! We're excited to have you showcase your livestock at the upcoming expo. To ensure the health and safety of all livestock and attendees, we've established guidelines and criteria for our livestock vendors.
Do I qualify to be a livestock vendor?
Approved animals include: rabbits, cavies, goat kids, calves, lambs, piglets, guineas, peachicks, turkey poults, quail, ducklings, chicks, and goslings.
Unapproved animals include: large cattle and horses. While farms with these livestock are accepted, space constraints prevent us from accommodating them at the expo.
For questions regarding livestock at the Family Farm Expo, please contact our team at eventsteam@roobeez.com.

Vendor Guidelines during the expo…
Upon entering the expo grounds…
A wellness check is required before you can go into the EXPO booths. A wellness check is a visual review of the animals by our EXPO wellness member, and someone from your organization must handle and show our team the animal and specific body parts of that livestock as requested.
During the event
A wellness team member continues to review conditions of each booth and reviews each animal during the event to ensure there are no animals under distress. Please continue to monitor the health of your own livestock and report anything of concern to a Roobeez or event staff member.
If animals are found to be unfit/unhealthy or deteriorating during the expo, they are asked to be isolated and placed in the vendor’s own ICU, intensive care unit pen or brooder.
Please refrain from going inside other livestock booths and touching any other livestock. This is to aid in proper biosecurity boundaries.
Use the foot booths entering and exiting the premises
Avoid sharing equipment and visiting with other exhibitors
your livestock must be contained wihtin your purchased booth at all times. ( no pens outside of you designated spot)
You must bring containers to send the animal home in (exception for goat kids, piglets or other large breed animals).
All chicks at the expo must have a sign disclosing vaccination status (Mareks vaccinated or Not Vaccinated)
You must have a separate box (ICU area) to put unwell/stressed poultry (+ heating, food, and water)
NO TOUCHING OF CHICKS - only you are allowed to handle and touch your chicks until sold. Be prepared for customers and kids who are tempted to open bins and reach in. Guard your chick bins and have a set-up to where you can prevent this from occurring.
Animal Safety is YOUR responsibility 1st - While The FFE, Family Farm Expo makes it a priority to support and aid in animal and attendee welfare and safety during our events, owners, such as vendors who are bringing their livestock and or owners who have purchased their livestock and in possession of their livestock are directly responsible for animal safety. Please bring the appropriate temporary shelter, heat, food and water for your animals during the event. Roobeez does not provide this for vendors and does not provide care or watch of animals in the expo. We do manage the appropriate care and handling of animals during our expos.
Disclaimer: Roobeez is not liable for the outcome of the birds that are shown or sold at the expo. Should issues or concerns arise, we encourage buyers and so should vendors to directly call the vendor they purchased livestock/animals from. To monitor any potential concerns, attendees of our expos can report incidents here.
Vendor guidelines after the expo…
The event concludes at 6 pm, and vendors have until 7 pm to clear out their spaces.
To optimize the experience for our attendees, we ask that vendors be present until 5:30 pm even if you sell out. We have attendees from all over - a treat for them is not just seeing available chicks but meeting with the amazing group of people we’ve curated for this event for their future reference. Please talk to a Roobeez representative if you need to leave before 5:30 pm.
Before exiting the expo grounds, you are responsible for:
Properly disposing of used bedding and uneaten, stale feed
Cleaning up your booth area and not leaving behind any used supplies
Make sure to check out our biosecurity recommendations you should follow after the expo!
